This SEC match-up will see the Kentucky Wildcats take on the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Kentucky Wildcats
The Wildcats saw their four-game win streak come to an end when they were upset by South Carolina this past week. Kentucky got a little unlucky when the Gamecocks banked home a game winning three after Kentucky had tied the game with about 5 seconds left. They are still 3-1 in the conference, so they are just fine.
Kentucky comes into this game averaging 75 points per game. During conference games, they have averaged 76 points, so a very minimal increase. The Wildcats have a very balanced offense this year and have multiple guys that could lead their scoring any given night. As it stands, they have four guys who average 13 points or more per game. The leading scorer is Tyrese Maxey, who averages 13.9. However, between Maxey and the fourth highest scorer, is just an average of 0.9 points. For Kentucky to bounce back, the must have several of these guys score in double-figures.
This will be just the third true road game for the Cats, so dealing with a hostile crowd could become an issue since this is probably the best team they have faced in the conference.

The Wildcats come into this game allowing 63.7 points per game. Teams shoot an average of 38.7% from the field and 29.4% from the three-point line. In two conference road games this year, Kentucky has allowed an average of 75 points per game.
Arkansas Razorbacks
The Razorbacks have one of the best records in the country, but because they lost a non-conference game to Western Kentucky, they are not getting much respect. Especially in the polls where they are not ranked. That really does not make sense to me, but luckily polls do not mean as much during the college basketball regular season. Arkansas looks like they are improving every game and could be a tough out in this years’ tournament.
They lost their first conference game about a week and a half ago to LSU by 2, but have since won two games in a row. They most recently beat Vanderbilt 75-55. The Razorbacks are also 10-0 at home, and this could easily be their most hyped game of the year.
Offensively, Arkansas is averaging 74.6 points per game. As for scoring, the Razorbacks have four guys who are averaging 10+ points per game. Leading the way is Mason Jones. He is averaging 18.1 points per game. Behind him is Isaiah Joe, who averages 17.8. Then they have a guy like Jimmy Whitt Jr, who averages 14.8, but goes and drops 30 against Vandy.
Defense for the Razorbacks has been the main reason why they have the record that they do. They allow just 61.4 points per game, the 30th ranked scoring defense in the country. They also have the #1 three-point defense, allowing teams to shoot 22.9%.
That being said, Arkansas must limit the young talent at Kentucky from taking over. If the Wildcats have multiple guys who reach say 20 points, the Razorbacks are going to be in some trouble.
CBB Betting Trends:

- Under is 24-7 in ARK last 31 home games.

Free Kentucky Wildcats vs. Arkansas Razorbacks NCAAB Prediction:
The Razorbacks are looking to prove to the rest of the country that they can go toe to toe with a prestigious program like Kentucky. I actually like the Razorbacks to feed off the home crowd and they get a signature win.
