Duke heads into the Watsco Center having won 3 games in a row and they will look to give the Hurricanes their first loss at home this season.

After losing a close game on the road against Virginia Tech, the Blue Devils have rattled off three wins in a row– a dismantling of Georgia Tech and then two close victories against Wake Forest and North Carolina.
Monday evening will be the second opportunity for them to square off with Miami this season. They edged the Hurricanes by 2 points back in January.

Jim Larranaga’s bunch picked up a close 78-74 road victory over Clemson last time out. With the game being tied at the half, the offense really came to life to earn the win.
in past seasons, a win over the Tigers might not have seemed like a lot, but that is not the case this season. Clemson is a very good team and they are certainly not an easy crew to take down, especially at home.

Miami is a very talented team and they can really score the ball. More times than not this season, points have not been hard to come by for the Canes.
Their top four players in minutes played per game are also their leaders in points per game. Isaiah Wong leads the team in multiple categories and is clearly the most talented and impactful player on this roster.

Duke might not be as explosive of a team as they have been in past years. Still, I feel they have enough guys that present issues to the Hurricane’s defense that will make the game competitive.
All in all, I do feel the Canes are the better team and I like the fact they are at home. With that said, laying that number with them is too high for me.
