Colorado is not supposed to be a threat to the leaders in the PAC 12 this season. This program is seemingly always underrated and Washington just beat Kansas so who knows.

Xavier has passed every test save one this season and has looked very good doing it. They are on a really good run leading up to conference play.

Colorado Buffaloes

This would be a huge win for Colorado and their only chance to make a real statement before PAC plays starts. So far they have looked OK but the competition has been light.

McKinley Wright the fourth might be one of the best names in college hoops. It also turns out the freshman guard is a pretty good player, leading the team in scoring at 16ppg. 5 boards per game is pretty good too for the six footer.

George King has always been a force on the glass and leads the team in rebounds from the wing. His shooting is up from last year and the points have followed. He is a great athlete and seems to always be contributing one way or the other.

Colorado has some length but mostly they focus on the perimeter. Their top five scorers are listed as guards but they can throw a little rim protection out there when need be.

Xavier Musketeers

Xavier has a puzzling loss to Arizona State on their resume but since then they have come home and dominates, including wins and covers against ranked Baylor and ranked rival Cincinnati.

Trevon Blueitt is the star averaging more than 20ppg but he does not have to do it alone. He might not have a true running mate but the supporting cast has many who are capable of stepping up.

J.P. Macura does a little but of everything on the wing. The best part is that he knows his role and plays it to near perfection.

Kaiser Gates has upped his game. He is sort of a stretch four I guess with his ability to make three though he looks like a wing to me. This team is not blessed with intimidating size.
