Thursday night PAC-12 action will see the Colorado Buffaloes take on the UCLA Bruins.
This will be the first meeting between these two teams this season. UCLA have lost four in a row to Colorado and it would not be surprising if they struggle here.
Colorado Buffaloes
The Buffaloes are easily one of the best teams in the PAC-12. posting a conference record of 5-2 so far. They have now won two games in a row since getting demolished by Arizona a few games ago. This was also an away game and they are 1-1 in road conference games.
Offense has not really been a strength for the Buffs, as they are only scoring 72.1 points per game. They have really struggled to score points on the road, averaging just 59 points per game. In conference away games, they have scored an average of 61 points per game.
This team is led in scoring by McKinley Wright IV. He is averaging 13.4 points per game. Right behind him is Tyler Bey, who averages 13.3 points. Besides these two guys, they have one other who averages 10.6, but the rest of the team scores less than 10 per game.

Defense has actually been the main strength of this team, as they hold their opponents to 61.7 points per game. This is the 25th ranked scoring defense in the country. In road PAC-12 games, they allow 68 points per game, so just playing away from home could prove to be an issue.
Another positive for the Buffaloes is they do a great job at limiting their opponents rebounding. They allow just 28.8 boards, which is 36th in the country.
UCLA Bruins
The Bruins are having a rough season to say the least, which is why they are only 3-4 in the conference. Of their seven conference games, three have been played at home and they have won just one of these.
Offensively, the Bruins have been pretty horrible to say the least. They only average 69.4 points per game. In home PAC-12 games, this average plummets to 57.3 points. Though this is a small sample size of three games, it is still worth noting that they struggle.
The Bruins do not exactly have a guy who can take over a game. Their leading scorer is Chris Smith. He averages just 12.2 points per game. Behind him is Jalen Smith, but he only averages 10 points per game. After these two guys, it is a whole lot of nothing. That being said, the Bruins are likely going to struggle against a good defensive team.
The defense for the Bruins is allowing 68.2 points per game, so not great, but not the worst. In conference games, they allow 69.2 points per game and in home games against the PAC-12, they allow 62.6 points per game.
One thing they do very well is limit rebounds. Their opponents grab just 27.8 boards per game on average, which ranks 18th in the country.
