Once again Cincinnati is putting up a gaudy record. They are going to be a tough out but they are not really elite.
The Huskies have disappointed all season. This would be a chance to get some cred but it is a little late in the game for that really.
Cincinnati Bearcats
The Bearcats are in second in the AAC, just a game behind Houston. It is the usual formula of awesome defense that has them there.
Jarron Cumberland averages 19ppg but overall this is not a great offensive club. Nor do they have much depth. They basically can count on 6 guys.

Cane Broome came over last year but has been a disappointment. He averaged 23ppg at Sacred Heart but has not even been able to get to half of that with Cincy over 2 seasons.
Sophomore Keith Williams averages 11ppg and he is the only other scorer in double figures for the Bearcats. This team can be beat but it is tough to do so.
Connecticut Huskies
UConn has lost four in a row and with their best player out for a while there is not much to be excited about.
That would be guard Jalen Adams who is a talented but somewhat enigmatic player. They are not better without him but with him they have not been great anyway.

Sophomore forward Tyler Polley is emerging for the Huskies. He is coming off a 19 point performance in a loss and can do a lot of things well.
Scoring against Cincy is always tough and the Huskies are going to have to work extra hard. I am not sure they have that in them on every possession.
