I would say that Alabama has been a good team this year, but they have struggled with consistency. You have to believe that trend will eventually catch up to them.
The Crimson Tide lost to the Texas A&M Aggies on Wednesday by a score of 87-71. I get that their opponent was a solid team, but they should have not lost by that many points on their home floor.
Throughout the season, this squad has really been weird to figure out because they have knocked off some tough teams, but they also have some losses that just make you scratch your head. Because of that, you really never know what to expect from them game to game.
They had a three point lead at the half in their last loss, but ended up getting outscored by a 50-31 margin in the second half. It is goes without saying that those kinds of things just cannot happen.
LSU Tigers
To me, LSU has been pretty good this year, but I have never quite put them in that elite category. Given how competitive just their own conference is, they still have some work to do before they get to the level of Kentucky or Auburn.
The Tigers come into this ball game with a record of 20-10. Sure, that is nothing to throw rocks at, but I just feel they could be better than that given the players they have on their roster.
