Kemba Walker, CHA (vs CLE), $8.5 DK, $8.6k FD
Kemba Walker is going to have a field day against the no good, terrible, awful Cleveland Cavaliers defense.
Walker has posted nearly 47.5 FPTS per game on average over his last five, and there’s a good chance he not only eclipses that average but puts together one of his top performances of the season on Wednesday.
Shabazz Napier, POR (@ MEM) $3.8k DK, $3.5k FD
Damian Lillard will miss Wednesday’s game against the tanking Memphis Grizzlies, and while CJ McCollum is the obvious choice to replace him, we like the idea of giving your top-dollar guard spot to Kemba while targeting Lillard’s backup—Shabazz Napier—instead.
So far this season, Napier has stepped up big time whenever Lillard’s been out. There’s no reason to think he won’t do the same this time around against a Grizzlies squad that looks as far from grit-and-grind as anyone would’ve imagined they would this year.
Andrew Wiggins (vs ATL), $6.8k DK, $7.0k FD
Andrew Wiggins remains as flawed as any current No. 2 option out there, but as far as DFS goes, he’s been a decent choice as of late.
Over the last 10 days, Wiggins has dropped an average of 34.5 FPTS on opponents. This particular opponent is ranked 29th when defending players at his position, and considering the Minnesota Timberwolves need every win they can get in an incredibly tight Western Conference playoff race, he should have another fine outing.
Al-Farouq Aminu, POR (@ MEM), $6.1k DK, $6.5k FD
Not only is Damian Lillard sitting on Wednesday, but Mo Harkless is out as well. The Blazers’ forward is undergoing a knee procedure, which means Aminu will have a chance to be featured at both the small and power forward positions for the immediate future.
Enes Kanter, NYK (vs NYK) $6.3k DK, $6.6k FD
If you’ve budgeted for a top-tier center, Joel Embiid is your guy. The tanking New York Knicks are without their best big and only superstar, Kristaps Porzingis, for the rest of the year, and Philly’s young 5 should have no problem putting up an All-Star-caliber line against a squad losing as well as anyone in the league.
If you haven’t, however, Enes Kanter represents a strong choice at this position. He’s going to make up some of the difference with Porzingis out, and that will hold especially true if Embiid ends up in foul trouble, as he’s been lately.
- Damian Lillard, POR (OUT) [UPGRADES: CJ McCollum, Shabazz Napier]
- Jimmy Butler, MIN (OUT) [UPGRADES: Andrew Wiggins]
- Kristaps Porzingis, NYK (OUT) [Enes Kanter, Joel Embiid]
One last thing. Remember… at the end of the day if you can’t afford to gamble online OR play at Draft Kings and Fan Duel then STOP. We know most DFS players need action, heck we do too, so just bet what you can afford.
Don’t go chasing money in high dollar GPP’s. Stick to cash games, and try to play on bigger slates. Avoid those night time 2 games slates. Your bankroll will thank us later.
