The first couple of games of this series were definitely not pretty. Either team could be up or down two games to none.
The Heat have to see the fact that they stole a game on the road as giving them an advantage.
Toronto has been very good on the road in the Eastern Conference all season long and has the fresher legs.
Two overtime games and a split but things could have been much worse for the Raptors. They are still not getting production from the guys they need it from in these playoffs.
They still might be able to beat the Heat though.
Kyle Lowry had a better game two than game one, hitting big shots down the stretch but he is still not right shooting the ball. You have to keep throwing him out there and hope he can shoot his way out of it.
DeMar DeRozan was not much better and it is especially concerning the way he was missing his free throws. He normally shoots 85% and getting to the line is a big part of his game. He has to shake it off.
Big man Jonas Valanciunas is the only starter who is rising to the occasion. He is going toe to toe with Hassan Whiteside and winning the battle.
Toronto is a good road team and will be looking to mirror what they did last series against Indiana when they won game three.
Both of the first games of this series went to overtime. In G2 it was Miami that nailed a three pointer to extend the game but they did not have enough to upset the Raptors again in overtime.
Goran Dragic hit the shot and has been the Heat’s most impressive player over the first two games. They may have gone to him to hit a big three but they often forget about him for stretches even though he has been their most efficient scorer.
Dwyane Wade may not be what he once was physically but his mastery of the game is high. When the game is speeding up in terms of intensity he is able to slow things down and get the shots he wants.
He just can’t be that player for an entire game any more. If the Heat are going to win out someone may have to win a game for them.
Joe Johnson is super physical but the Raptors might have figured out his foil in James Johnson. They go to him in a lot of big situations so that will be an interesting strategy point to watch.
Miami has been fighting hard but I think we may start to see them crack as the series goes longer.

Free Toronto Raptors vs. Miami Heat NBA Prediction:
Toronto has not been a good bet in these playoffs but the potential is there. They split without playing anything close to their best ball and I do think their stars will eventually break out.
4* Free NBA Betting Pick: Toronto +5.5
I love their depth to be a factor in this one.
