Two Western Conference opponents will face off this Saturday afternoon as the Sacramento Kings travel to the Sooner State to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder. Oklahoma City leads the all-time series 141-85 and took the last matchup 122-118 on January 15th.
The Thunder have been on a roll as of late, winning four in a row. They dominated the Raptors on Thursday, winning 123-102 in Toronto. Oklahoma City currently holds the 6th spot in the Western Conference.
The Kings have been on a roll of their own, although it is not quite as impressive as the Thunder.

Sacramento has won their last two games, including a 107-101 victory over the Suns in Phoenix on Wednesday. The Kings are in 12th place in the West.
Sacramento Kings
The Kings may have gotten back on the winning track and strung together two in a row, but it is probably too little too late in the overall picture.
Before this current stretch, they had lost eight games in a row and essentially played themselves out of playoff contention.

However, they have looked better over the last two games. Sacramento pulled an impressive fourth quarter comeback on Wednesday, coming back from seven points down to take a 107-102 victory in Phoenix.
The Kings average only 103.1 points per game which ranks 21st in the NBA. They rank 28th in rebounding with only 41 and 13th in assists with 22.5 per contest.
The defense has not been much better– allowing 106.1 points per game and ranking 20th in scoring D.
With DeMarcus Cousins traded and Rudy Gay out with an Achilles injury, the Kings have struggled to find offense. Darren Collison currently leads the way with 13.5 points and 4.5 assists per game.
Tyreke Evans contributes 10.5 points and Buddy Hield adds 9.4 points a night.
Oklahoma City Thunder
The Thunder have defeated some impressive opponents during their four-game winning streak including the San Antonio Spurs, the Utah Jazz and the Toronto Raptors.
They dominated the game in Toronto on Wednesday, leading through the whole game and completely blowing it open in the third quarter.
With the impressive four-game stretch, the Thunder have been steadily climbing the Western Conference standings.
They hold a 1.5 game lead over the 7th place Memphis Grizzlies and trail the 5th place L.A. Clippers by only a half game.
Oklahoma City currently ranks 11th in the league in scoring offense with 106.8 points per game. They are 2nd in rebounding with 46.2 and 25th in assists with 21 per contest.
Defensively, they allow 106.1 points per game which ranks 19th in the NBA.

Free Sacramento Kings vs. Oklahoma City Thunder NBA Prediction:
Both teams are riding winning streaks, but there is no question who the better team is. The only real question is whether or not the Thunder will win by more than 12.5 points.
They have been on a mission lately and know that they are closing in on the higher seeds in the West.
