So far, he’s fitting in perfectly with the Blazers collecting 22 points in his debut and 13 versus Toronto while connecting on 10 of his 20 perimeter attempts through two games.
In the win versus Toronto, the Blazers showcased how lethal the three guard starting lineup is going to be moving forward as Damian Lillard led with a double-double of 22 points and 11 assists while CJ McCollum scored 23 adding seven rebounds, five assists, two steals, and three blocks.
Yet the bigger news may be the defense that held the Raptors to 10 points in the third quarter and was a factor down the stretch of the game. Having Jusuf Nurkic back is definitely helping this effort.

Detroit Pistons
The Pistons wish they could play all 72 games against the Toronto Raptors as they ended up sweeping the season series to collect three of their 13 wins this season.

Hamidou Diallo joined in with his offering of 19 points (plus 10 rebounds) as one of four Pistons reserves to reach double-digits. Cory Joseph (17), Isaiah Stewart (14), and Frank Jackson (12) were the other bench producers.
Overall the Pistons reserves clobbered the decimated Raptors 65 to 24.
Rodney McGruder (elbow) and Dennis Smith Jr. (spine) were both out Saturday and Monday remaining day-to-day. Killian Hayes (hip) and Jahlil Okafor (knee) are both out.
