Scottie Barnes had been on a tear collecting triple-doubles and playing some of his best ball of the season. Through his last five matches he was averaging 19.4 points, 12.4 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 1.2 steals per game.
That said, even if Embiid sits today for rest, the Sixers still have everyone else ready to go, and the Sixers talent will be just too much to overcome.
Ultimately, I’m taking the visiting team to win and to cover because Toronto will need to go too deep into their bench and will run out of gas.
