The Trail Blazers may be one of the biggest surprises in the NBA this season and they look to continue their playoff push as they take on the lowly Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday.
After seeing their entire core depart, the Trail Blazers started off shaky, but are now poised for a post season position, if they can win the games like these.

Philadelphia has now had 7 chances to grab their 10th win of the season, but like their season has gone, they continued to fail.
Their latest loss comes at the hands of the Denver Nuggets as they put a fight up, but eventually fell by 1 in the end. With the loss, the 76ers are now dead last in the Eastern Conference, as they are 11.5 games behind the Brooklyn Nets for 2nd last.

Lottery bound, the 76ers are only going to get younger, which is something that can’t be encouraging for fans. Philadelphia has yet to improve despite their multiple early 1st round picks, which is alarming for the front office and their fans.
With their loss to Denver, the 76ers are now just 3-33 SU on the road, which is easily the worst in the league.
Portland Trail Blazers
Portland was expected to really be a team that would be rebuilding after seeing their entire core depart.
It was Damien Lillard as the only one who stayed behind and he found success early with CJ McCollum, but that still wasn’t enough for Portland to compete. Then all of a sudden, it was a chain effect. One guy who step up one night, then someone else off the bench would contribute the next.
The Trail Blazers rapidly began putting up wins and are now in the 6th spot in the West. Things aren’t all clear yet though for them however. Portland is just 1.5 games ahead of Houston and Utah for that 8th spot, and they do come in off a loss last time out.

Portland went into the Staples Center and gave the Clippers all they could handle, but fell in the end by 2. That does have the potential to be a first round match up with the Clippers a few games back of the 3rd spot.
Portland will only succeed if their bench continues to produce. That’s been the key all season long as Lillard and McCollum can only do so much for this Trail Blazers team.
