Morant has missed ample time, and his presence hasn’t been as influential as expected. With Ja in the lineup, the Grizz are 6-10 versus when he was sidelined, and Memphis went 9-7.
Morant’s production is down this season as he’s averaging 17.9 points, 7.6 assists and 3.3 rebounds while shooting a meager 37.4% from the field and 22% from the perimeter.
The oddsmakers are basically calling this a coin toss with a single point as the spread. Most home teams automatically get a 2 or 3 point edge, so they aren’t convinced in either team.
Having said that, the Sixers have a healthier squad, so I’ll roll with them taking this match.
