OKC Thunder vs. Minnesota Timberwolves Odds & Last 5
Last season, the Northwest Division rivals split the four-game series. This is the third of four contests between the clubs this year, with the teams even at a game apiece.
Over the last five games, the Thunder are 3-2 but remain atop the NBA with the best record of 38-10. While most teams would be thrilled given their standing, it’s a bit of a red flag that the Thunder have struggled lately, albeit they’ve been limited by injuries.
Minnesota has fluctuated back and forth between great and mediocre all season long, often playing down to its competition. The recent outing was a perfect example of this, as they struggled to put away the Mavs despite Cooper Flagg and Anthony Edwards being sidelined. They sit in sixth in the West with a 29-19 record overall.
Entering this matchup, the Thunder are 6.5 favorites to win with an over/under of 225.5 points.

OKC Thunder vs. Minnesota Timberwolves bottom line:
Looking back, the Wolves’ upward momentum began after these clubs’ last match, when Minny prevailed to beat the Thunder. At the time, OKC was 25-2, so they were far from an easy out.
It was a statement win for Minnesota, who went on to register a 9-4 record through their next 13 games, but then fell into a rut losing five in a row. They are seemingly back on track with two wins in a row, with an opportunity to boost their confidence again.

Thunder Wolves Free Pick: Wolves +6.5
Here is my Thunder Wolves free pick.
Since they began the season on a 24-1 tear, the Thunder has been closer to middling with a 13-9 record. That said, they’ve dealt with more than the average number of injuries, although Gilgeous-Alexander has remained healthy, which the team can credit for several of their clutch-time wins.
Entering this match the NBA All-Star reserves will be announced with the expected addition of a second OKC player given their status atop the league. The likely recipient will be Chet Holmgren while Anthony Edwards is all but a shoo-in to get the nod.
These clubs always put on a show, and while the Thunder are the better overall team, something tells me Minny will come out fired up to make a statement again.
I’m not confident they’ll capture the “W,” but I like the points in this match and a close contest.
