Aside from the injuries, there are some red flags for the Thunder. For a team with their length, they aren’t a good rebounding team. The other concern is the differential in shot attempts and second chance scoring, which their opponents have been winning (particularly in the losses)
While the Thunder are struggling slightly, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander remains on fire. Per John Schuhmann: “His true shooting percentage of 67.6% would be the highest in NBA history for a player who averaged at least 30 points per game, topping Stephen Curry’s mark of 66.9% in 2015-16″.
After losing two in a row, the Thunder will no doubt be inspired to cleanse their palate with a rout of the Pelicans.
