They’ve either been extremely hot, or extremely cold. That’s been the story for the Sacramento Kings as they get set to take on the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night.
Check out the free sports picks from Cappers Picks experts today!
The Kings rattled off 5 straight wins and looked like they were going to make a push in the West. Things haven’t fallen off since then as they are now enduring a losing streak.
The Bucks feel their pain as they’ve dropped 4 of 5 overall.
Milwaukee
Milwaukee knows a thing or two about losing streaks.
The Bucks have dropped 4 of 5 and this will mark the beginning of a 3 game road trip, where the Bucks haven’t had much success this season.

Milwaukee went 2-6 away from home in January and bring in an overall record of just 7-21.
The Bucks come in off a loss to Miami 107-103, where they just couldn’t get any key stops down the stretch. The silver lining from the loss came from Giannis Antetokounmpo. The 21 year old finished with 28 points, 6 assists, and a pair of blocks. He’s shown plenty of moments this season that give the Bucks a lot of hope for a bright future.
Sacramento
The Kings had won 5 straight games and had a chance for 6 as they took a 10 point lead into half against their game versus Charlotte.
Cousins fouled out in the 2nd overtime and the Kings went onto lose by 1. Since then, things haven’t looked the same with this team. Sacramento has dropped 4 straight and has fallen back in the Western Conference as they look to right the ship here.
Things could be extremely tough on them here as DeMarcus Cousins is questionable. Cousins left during the 4th quarter of Saturday’s loss with an ankle injury. He had shot just 3 of 17 prior to going down with the injury. He will participate in shoot around Monday and test the ankle out.
The Kings will try to repeat their offensive performance from back on 11/25 when they put up 129 points against Milwaukee.
NBA Betting Trends:
- Bucks are 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game.
- Bucks are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 Monday games.
- Bucks are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 when their opponent allows 100 points or more in their previous game.
- Kings are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up loss.
- Kings are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS loss.
- Kings are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall.
Free NBA Prediction:
The Kings are a completely different team without Cousins.
Even if he plays, he’s likely not going to be 100% which will cause a lot of problems for Sacramento because they will still try to play through him.
Expect the Bucks to keep it close here and have a chance to win outright.
