The Bucks are trying to get back into the race but it is tough in the super competitive East this season.
The Bulls are really on a roll right now and are happy to welcome the team they eliminated from the playoffs last season.
The Bucks saw their two game winning streak snapped by the Spurs last night. The most positive thing they can say about their season is that they broke Golden State winning streak.
This team has completely lost its defensive identity this season and the results have not been good. Greg Monroe has been a bust so far, instead of putting the team over the top.
The numbers really don’t add up on offense for this group. They are 7th in shooting and 6th from behind the arc but only 24th in ppg. That must mean they are turning it over a lot and getting killed on the boards right?
And those numbers are with Michael Carter-Williams, a notorious bad shooter who seems to have lost his decision making ability.
This team has the ability to be a lot better than it is but this season is feeling like it already is lost.
Chicago is on a roll of late, winning five of six. It helps that two of those game have been against the Raptors. They own those guys.
Speaking of hot, Jimmy Butler was on fire in the second half of their recent win over Toronto. Scored 40 in the second half.
They might need another game like that because Derrick Rose is probably not playing in this one. Neither is Joakim Noah, who will be out for another week or so.
Even though new coach Fred Hoiberg want this group to score they still have the best defense in the league, holding opponents to 41% shooting. That means they should be in most games.
This is a deep team that is very competitive, even with some of their stars off the floor. They have been impressive.
