The Bucks are looking to build off a good first half. There is nothing wrong with it but I think they thought they would be closer to the top of the playoff grouping in the Eastern Conference. They get the top team in the Conference so there should be some juice for this one.
Toronto had a great first half of the season. The record and positioning are strong but if you follow closely you know they could be even better.
The Bucks closed the first half with a home loss and it won’t be easy getting a win at Toronto.
This team has been tough to peg this season. In some games they play stifling defense with all of that length they have and in others they free wheel and put up lots of points.
Giannis is the engine for this group and even though his numbers have come down from his flashy start he is still among the ten best players in the league.
Khris Middleton’s presence means he does not have to do all of the scoring and Middleton has continued to add elements to his game every season. He is really good at 20ppg.
The Bucks gave the Raptors a good series last playoffs but the gap between them seems bigger now.
As a local I watch more Raptors than any other team and it is hard to find much to quibble with in Toronto right now. Their stars are All-Stars and they probably have the deepest roster in the NBA. Everyone they put out there can contribute in a meaningful way…and does. They stormed into the break.
I am not saying they are better than the starters but the second unit for the Raptors is really good. They often are the reason the team wins s they dominate against teams that can’t go much deeper than 7 players. Toronto has three legit point guards in Kyle Lowry, Delone Wright and Fred VanVleet.
The task of guarding Giannis will fall to rookie OG Anunoby. He has gotten his career off to a good start but seemed to hit the “wall” before the break. Hopefully he is rested up and ready to battle the rest of the way.

Free Milwaukee Bucks vs. Toronto Raptors NBA Prediction:
These two teams met twice in early January and the Raptors won both, one in OT and the other in a blowout. This line is bigger than both of those.
Not a shock given the way Toronto has played at home all season long. Still there could be a little rust for a group that was humming and didn’t need the break.
4* Free NBA Betting Pick: Raptors -7.5
I can see a rough and tumble game won by the home team but I like them to win going away they way they have been the last month.
