On Tuesday, April 6th, the Memphis Grizzlies and Miami Heat play for the second time this season. In the first match on March 17th, the Grizzlies won a defensive battle 89-85.

Memphis Grizzlies
With a win over the 76ers on Sunday, the Grizzlies moved up onto the playoff ladder into the eighth position. The Grizzlies have ramped up their push to the postseason as teams jockey seeds play in tournament positions in earnest.

They’ve won seven of their last 11 matches with the most recent an impressive 116-100 victory over the 76ers in Philly where only four teams had accomplished that feat this season.
Seven Grizzlies scored in double-figures en route to the win which was punctuated by a 45-29 third quarter. Jonas Valanciunas delivered a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Dillon Brooks registered the top score for the Grizzlies with 17 points. The other double-digit scorers were Grayson Allen (15), Brandon Clarke (15), De”Anthony Melton (14), Desmond Bane (14), and Kyle Anderson (10).
Ja Morant scored just eight points but dished 10 dimes.
Brandon Clarke (calf) is questionable for Tuesday. Justise Winslow (thigh) and De’Anthony Melton (leg) are out Tuesday. While Jaren Jackson Jr. progresses in this rehab but remains a few weeks away.
Miami Heat
Like many of the East’s perennial playoff teams, the Heat have struggled to find consistency. In their last 15 matches, they have a five-game winning streak followed by a six-game losing streak and enter Tuesday on a four-game winning streak.
This is the dynamic of the NBA this season. Their last match on Saturday featured a 115-101 victory versus the struggling Cavaliers.
Victor Oladipo made his Heat debut versus the Warriors and played again on Saturday. In two games he’s averaged 7.0 points, two rebounds, five assists, and two steals.
While it’s logically going to take him some time to mesh with his new squad the shooting averages should raise a red flag Specifically, he’s shooting 23.8 percent from the field (5 of 21) and 10 percent from deep (1 of 10) — YIKES!.
Perhaps he’ll have a similar path as Evan Fournier did with the Celtics, but if you’re the Heat this is not what they were hoping to get out of Oladipo
The stars led the way in the win over Cleveland with both posting double-doubles. Bam Adebayo with 18 points and 11 rebounds while Jimmy Butler produced 15 points and 11 assists.
Duncan Robinson (18), Trevor Ariza (15), Goran Dragic (13), and Tyler Herro (10) were the other double-figure contributors.
Gabe Vincent (knee soreness) is listed as probable. Andre Iguodala (hip) didn’t play Saturday and is listed as day-to-day. KZ Okpala (health and safety protocols) remains out.
