NBA ABC Primetime basketball features two teams fighting for bottom seeds in their respective conferences.
The Houston Rockets head into the United Center to take on the Chicago Bulls in what seems like a must win game for both.
Beating teams equal or less to you right now is something playoff teams do. This happens to be the case for both teams, who are right there with each other.
The Rockets right now have the better of the two teams. Houston currently sits in 8th place in the West, but are just 1.5 games ahead of the Jazz.
The 1.5 game lead isn’t actually all that bad considering they were just down 0.5 game to Utah earlier this week. Houston has picked up 2 games in the standings on them and now look to create more space.
They also sit just 2.5 games behind the Trail Blazers for 7th place.
Houston does come in off a win, as they knocked off New Orleans by 5 on Wednesday. It was a giant win as the Rockets are also battling with the Pelicans for that 8th spot. James Harden continues to lead the way as he put in 38. Harden has really taken over as of late for the Rockets, carrying the offensive load.
The Bulls had their sights set on competing with the best in the NBA. That has been far from the case.
Chicago could be pinned as the most disappointing team in the NBA this season. Chicago was in the bottom tier of playoff position in the East, but their recent struggles and injuries have really sent them into a downward spiral.
Chicago has lost 4 in a row and continues to have players miss time.
While Rose is back in the lineup, him and Gasol are the only two reliable sources of offense. The duo starts aside E’Twaun Moore, Cameron Bairstow, and Mike Dunleavy.
Chicago is still without Miratic and Butler, who both aren’t expected back anytime soon.

Free Houston Rockets vs. Chicago Bulls NBA Prediction:
The Bulls have played much better inside the United Center this season. However, the injuries are just too much to handle right now.
4* Free NBA Betting Pick: UNDER 215.5.
With the Rockets making some space in the West, look for Houston to come on the road and take down a shorthanded Bulls team.
