Both clubs last played on Tuesday as the Warriors lost 94-113 to the Philadelphia 76ers. Stephen Curry missed the game with runner’s knee. Six Warriors scored in double-digits, but no one broke 13 points. Gui Santos and Pat Spencer reached that mark as the leaders in scoring for the Dubs.
Phoenix won their match 130-125 versus Portland. All five starters plus Jordan Goodwin scored in double figures. Collin Gillespie led the way with 30 points, while Grayson Allen and Mark Williams (plus 11 rebounds) each contributed 24 points.

Golden State Warriors vs. Phoenix Suns Odds & Last 5
Last season, the teams split their four matches, each winning twice. This is the final meeting between the clubs this season, with the Warriors up 2-1 in the series.
Golden State is actively seeking to upgrade its roster with another core contributor. As of this writing, they’ve failed to make a move, or rather, to hear back on their offer to Milwaukee (see updates below). They reside in the eighth seed in the West with a 27-24 record. In the last five matches, the Warriors are 2-3.
The Suns are 4-1 through the last five matches as they sit in the sixth seed with a record of 31-20. Phoenix is back home for a four-game stand and will continue to play a heavy home stint with 11 of its next 13 contests at home.
Phoenix is favored by 6.5 points with an over/under of 220.5 points.
Warriors Stats
With 51 games in the well, Golden State ranks 14th (114.8) on offense and is in a three-way tie for sixth on defense (112.1). Additionally, the Dubs hold the 10th-ranked net rating (+2.7) and run the 13th quickest pace (101.21).
The West’s eighth seed averages 116.2 points per game while their opponents average 114.0 points. In terms of dimes and boards, Golden State averages 28.9 (tied for fifth) and 42.9 (22nd), respectively.
Team leaders* for key categories are Stephen Curry for scoring (27.2), Jonathan Kuminga for rebounding (5.9), Draymond Green for assists (5.3), De’Anthony Melton for steals (1.5), and Al Horford for blocks (1.1).
As for the perimeter, the Dubs continue to rely on it, but perhaps not as much as in the past. They shoot 36.4% from deep as a team, with seven players shooting 36.7% or better.

Phoenix’s team leaders* are Devin Booker for scoring (25.4 points) and assists (6.2), Mark Williams for rebounds (8.0) and blocks (1.0), and Grayson Allen for steals (1.5).

Golden State Warriors vs. Phoenix Suns bottom line:
The trade deadline will be over by the time this game tips off, and depending on what happens, the Warriors could be severely shorthanded or dealing with a disgruntled Jonathan Kuminga.
The big fish waiting, of course, is Giannis Antetokounmpo with the Warriors anxiously awaiting the Bucks decision.
Golden State Warriors vs. Phoenix Suns Basketball Betting Trends
- Golden State is 2-5 ATS in its last 7 games.
- The total has gone OVER in 7 of Golden State’s last 10 games.
- Golden State is 4-11 ATS in its last 15 games against Phoenix.
- Also, Phoenix is 12-6 ATS in its last 18 games.
- The total has gone OVER in 6 of Phoenix’s last 6 games played in February.
- Additionally, Phoenix is 9-2 SU in its last 11 games at home.
Warriors Suns Free Pick: Suns -6.5
Here is my Warriors Suns free pick.
Aside from what may happen by the deadline (3 PM EST), the Warriors will be without Stephen Curry again. That’s a big problem for the Dubs, who have won just four of the 12 contests he’s been sidelined in.
UPDATED: The Jonathan Kuminga question has been answered as the Dubs send him to Atlanta for Kristaps Porzingis. In a smaller move Trace Jackson Davis goes to Toronto.
The spread definitely feels a bit heavy now, given the trades and Curry being out. Combine that with how the Suns play at home, and I’ll take Phoenix to win and cover.

Draymond Green on being put on the trade block by the Golden State Warriors:
