The NBA Finals has been fun without there being a close game.
The Cavaliers opened up a double digit lead within the first 6 minutes of the game and went on to route the Warriors. They are now set up for a Game 4, where they can even things up.
Cleveland was embarrassed and ran off the floor in Oakland for Games 1 and 2.
How they responded was a way not many people saw coming. Kyrie Irving dominated the early going and the Cavaliers opened up a huge lead early and never looked back. Irving, James, Smith, Thompson and company went on to win by 30, being the first team in NBA History to respond to a 30 plus point loss in the NBA Finals with a 30 point win of their own.
After playing so well in Game 2, Richard Jefferson got the start for Kevin Love, who was out due to the NBA concussion protocol. Love’s status remains unknown for Game 4, but there has been some speculation whether or not he’ll be back in the starting lineup or if Jefferson will keep his role.
Regardless, dominating the paint and stopping Curry and Thompson again are the two keys here.
Cleveland dominated the glass and got plenty of 2nd chances offensively. Defensively, Curry and Thompson could never get going to get Golden State back into it.
Golden State Warriors
It’s safe to say the Warriors are a little shocked after Game 3.
Golden State buried themselves in an early hole and had nobody stepped up as the Warriors were knocked around all game.
Klay Thompson exited late in the 1st quarter after going knee to thigh with Timofey Mozgov during a pick. Thompson had some choice words after the game and called the play dirty. Thompson did eventually return, but failed to score in the 2nd half.
Golden State will look to not only shoot better from behind the arc here, but they really need Curry and Thompson to get going. They got by in Games 1 and 2 with other players stepping up, but these two have to do something at some point for them.
Defending the boards is also another big key for the Warriors as they struggled all night long in Game 3.

Free Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers NBA Prediction:
This series is on now.
The Cavaliers proved they’re not a pushover and are here to stay. Getting off to fast start, like they did in Game 3 is crucial.
4* Free NBA Betting Pick: Under 206
Despite their ability to score fast, the Warriors will slow things down here. The Cavs were getting out quick and getting easy buckets which is something Golden State will try to avoid here.
