Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Minnesota Timberwolves bottom line:
Minnesota is scorching hot and playing with a swagger. They’ve figured some things out, and while they still need a true point guard (who isn’t as old and unhealthy as Mike Conley) for the moment Ant Man is doing all the extras.
Cleveland has also been hot lately, having gotten back many of their core players from injury, but watching them, I don’t see the team that excelled on both ends last season. There is a lack of grit and physicality, which won’t likely be truly apparent until the postseason.
That said, both clubs are looking to move up, so this match will still be highly competitive.

Cavaliers Wolves Free Pick: Wolves -2.5
Here is my Cavaliers Wolves free pick.
While both teams are 4-1 in their last five, it’s the Wolves who’ve had the more impressive wins and looked like a team on the rise.
They’ve discovered something since that OKC Thunder victory and genuinely look like a team that could move up the ladder ahead of at least three teams in front of them.
His name hasn’t been in the mix, but keep an eye on Anthony Edwards to get in the conversation for the MVP top five list (especially if Minny keeps winning).
Cleveland is feeling good about itself, but my gut says this contest will get physical, and if I’m right, then I love the Wolves to win and cover. Also, if you watch the game, keep an eye on Edwards, who I think will have a massive night given who’ll guard him.
