With the move to trade Vucevic and White, it appears Chicago is committed to a rebuild. We’ll see if the list gets longer, (it does – with Guerschon Yabusele incoming while Dalen Terry exits) as some are suggesting Chicago might not be done yet.

Nikola Vucevic had been a Raptors killer, particularly on the glass, so his absence should allow for a better rebounding result and subsequently more fast break opportunities for Toronto.
Meanwhile, the Dinos will be licking the wounds of letting yet another (their third in a week) game go when leading by double figures. That should inspire them to provide a better effort.
The Raptors don’t have a great track record in second games of back-to-back sets. They are 3-6 in those instances this year and still won’t have Jakob Poeltl available.
The unknown entering this match is who will be dressed and whether more players will have been traded. (Update: Toronto made a trade with the Warriors to acquire big man Trace Jackson Davis – see Tweet of the Day)
For Chicago, they have incoming players who may or may not suit up. For the Raptors, RJ Barrett has heard his name for weeks, so if he’s still in Toronto, expect a better outing from him than his horrible performance on Wednesday.
Ultimately, the 8.5 point spread feels far too rich for a team who struggle in consecutive games. Therefore, I’ll take the points.
