Friday December 15, finds Central Division rivals the Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks tipping off. The Bulls arrive in Wisconsin on a four-game win streak while the Bucks return home after a loss in New Orleans.
The Bulls hold the all-time edge having won 129 of the 240 meetings. Last season, the squads played four times with the Bucks winning three of the four contests.
Chicago Bulls
The return of Nikola Mirotic has coincided with the Chicago Bulls suddenly stringing together four consecutive victories. During this win streak the Bulls have bested the Hornets in overtime, Knicks, Celtics and Jazz.
His ability to space the court and also help on the glass is paying dividends. In his return Mirotic is averaging 52 percent from deep along with 5.75 rebounds.

After their early season fisticuffs both Bobby Portis and Mirotic have produced in their return to the court.
Their production is a positive for Bulls management who are likely shopping at least one of the two players given Mirotic’s mandate. Conversely the current win streak may lead to a calming of the storm between the pair.

After a stellar start to his rookie campaign Lauri Markkanen missed his second straight game due to back spasms. Hopefully this is a matter of the youngster just needing to add strength and muscle and won’t be an ongoing narrative.
Zach LaVine (knee) and Cameron Payne (foot) are both rehabbing and on track for a January return.
Milwaukee Bucks
Since adding Eric Bledsoe the Bucks have produced an 11-5 record. Notably, with Bledsoe’s addition through 6 games Milwaukee is recognizing improvements defensively while oddly regressing offensively.
That said, the offense should organically improve as Bledsoe assimilates to the Bucks offense and develops chemistry with his court mates.

The list of walking wounded on the Bucks continues to grow.
Tony Snell has missed the past three games (knee). Jason Terry (calf), Matthew Dellavedova (knee), Mirza Teletovic (knee) and Jabari Parker (knee) are also on the injured list

Free Chicago Bulls vs. Milwaukee Bucks NBA Prediction:
Just going by teams records won’t paint a clear picture given the Bulls 2-12 road record. Granted it’s a small sample size (4 games), but during the win streak the Bulls have posted the second best defense improving upon their season rank of 21st and have the best net differential of plus 10.6 points.
Forget trap game this is a straight up situation where the Bucks who allow the league’s worst 40.2 percent efficiency from the perimeter face a team who just got back their 3-point sniper. If Markkanen can play it only serves to add to the Bucks issues.
4* Free NBA Betting Pick: Take the points and bet the Bulls +8
Chicago hasn’t consistently demonstrated their perimeter ability, but you can bet after reading the game report they’ll have Bucks flying out to the perimeter all night. This will result in open driving lanes for the Bulls all night.
Theoretically the Bucks should take care of business at home, but my gut says Chicago makes the Bucks pay behind the arc.
