It seems impossible that Indy had such a strong offense just a season ago but are struggling to put points on the board this season. It speaks to the talent of Tyrese Haliburton who might be getting more accolades while out injured then he did when active.
Pundits are surmizing this could be a similar season for the Pacers as the year the Spurs took a timeout with an injured David Robinson and then won the lottery and Tim Duncan.
As much as this seems like a no-brainer pick it is important to note the Pacers have the second best perimeter defense (33.8%) in the NBA. So, they’ll give the Celts trouble and may force them into scoring more in transition and in the paint.
Ultimately, I chose to go with Boston to win and cover.
