This week ten college football matchup will see the undefeated Baylor Bears hosting the West Virginia Mountaineers. This game will be played on Halloween night, which could play a role in the crowd size for Baylor.

Last season, West Virginia beat Baylor 58-14. Last time they played in Waco, the Mountaineers also won the game 38-36, so there is some revenge factor for this Bears team.
West Virginia Mountaineers
West Virginia is coming off a bye week, so they will have had extra time to prepare for this game. They got blown out 52-14 by Oklahoma in their most recent game. They are also now on a three-game losing streak in which they have been outscored 132 to 59.
The Mountaineers are also now 1-3 in conference play, meaning they have virtually no chance to play for a Big 12 title. All they can do now is win three of their final five games to become bowl eligible.

The Mountaineers have been very poor offensively this year and they have the stats to prove it. They are 119th in the country in total yards per game. Their passing offense is the only decent part of the offense and this still ranks 73rd in the FBS. Their rushing offense is among the worst in the country too, averaging just 88.1 yards per game.
Defensively, the Mountaineers have been just as bad or maybe even worse than their offense. They allow an average of 409 yards per game, 79th in the country. They have been torched both through the air and on the ground and they also allow an average of 33.4 points per game. In conference play, their defense allows 39 points per game through just four games.
Baylor Bears
The Bears also are coming off a bye meaning they also have had time to heal up and create a game plan for a bad Mountaineers team. Baylor beat Oklahoma State 45-27 last time out. This was a game where a ton of people bet against the Bears and then they went out and dominated the Cowboys.
As of right now, the Bears are in first place in the Big 12 standings. At this rate they could be playing for a Big 12 title, but they still have a long way to go.
The Bears offense has been putting up a ton of points, averaging 38.9 per game. This is 12th in the country. Against just Big 12 teams, the Bears are averaging slightly less points per game at 33, but they will be facing a very weak defense and should be able to score close to 40 by themselves.
The defense has been overall decent, but recently they have been giving up a ton of points. If you look at their season as a whole, you would see that they allow just 19.1 points per game. However, against four Big 12 opponents, they allow 22.5 points per game. This is not a huge increase, but even still, Big 12 teams are having more success against them.
West Virginia is by no means a great offense, but it is very possible that the Bears could be looking past the Mountaineers so there is a chance they will give up more points than they would like to.

Free Week 10 NCAA Football Pick
West Virginia is one of the worst teams in the Big 12, so no way they will win this game. I like the Bears to take care of business and to remain undefeated.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: OVER 57
Look for the Bears to torch the Mountaineers through the air. They will continue to put up a ton of points and their defense will be able to slow down West Virginia but not enough to keep this game under the total. That said, I like the over in this Thursday night matchup.
