The Cougars look to rebound from an embarrassing loss in Week 1 when they travel into Idaho to take on Boise State Saturday night.
The Broncos handled business on the road in their season opener, routing Lafayette right from the opening kickoff.
Washington State Cougars
The Cougars season could not have gotten off to a worse start.

As 27.5 point favorites at home against Washington State, the Cougars ended up losing to Eastern Washington 45-42 in Week 1.
Washington State has had no issues offensively over the past couple seasons, but the defense has been the struggle. This season is going to be no different either for them.

EWU put up the 45 points and 606 yards of total offenses on the Cougs, as a majority of the yardage came through the air.
Washington State will even have a much more difficult time, as they go up against a Broncos offense that put up 45 points last week.
Boise State Broncos
The Broncos took off right from the opening kick off last week in Lafayette.
Boise State opened a 35-0 lead before a field goal as time expired ended their run.
Offensively, Boise State dazzled for nearly 600 yards of total offense, with 426 of them coming through the air. Brett Rypien had 347 yards himself and added a pair of touchdowns as he continued to keep the Broncos in rhythm and kept the ULL defense on their heels all afternoon long.
Defensively, Boise is going to be in for a tough test against his pass attack from WSU, but they were up for the task last week.
They allowed just a single touchdown in the 2nd half and had the ULL backfield confused all game long.

Look for them to really put emphasis on getting pressure in the backfield, not giving this Cougars team any time to through. If they can successfully do that, they’ll be in for a good night.
