This week six matchup will see the Washington Huskies take on the Stanford Cardinal.
This is a PAC-12 conference game, so both teams should be focused and will be needing a win. The Huskies have one loss in the conference and are one of the only teams who look like they have a chance to win the conference. Stanford got their second win of the season over Oregon State after a three-game losing streak.

Last year Washington beat Stanford 27-23.
Washington Huskies
The Huskies beat USC last week 28-14. They are now on a three-game win streak, but will have to hit the road for this game.
The Washington offense basically revolves around Jacob Eason. On the season he has thrown for 1243 yards, ten touchdowns and just two interceptions. Last week against the Trojans, Eason went 16 of 26, but only threw for 180 yards.
The running game picked up Washington last week as they had 194 yards rushing in the game against USC. Salvon Ahmed had 153 yards on 17 carries with one touchdown.
They are scoring 38.2 points per game, which is ranked in the top 25.
The defense allowed 375 yards to USC, but managed to force three turnovers. They were torched on the ground, allowing 212 rushing yards. However, they held their own against the pass, allowing 163 yards. Granted USC was forced to play their third string quarterback, but they did a nice job to keep him in check.
The Huskies allow an average of 17.4 points per game, which is 25th in the country. Stanford’s offense has not shown all that much this year and I look for the Huskies to completely shut them down.
Stanford Cardinal
The Cardinal finally put together a winning effort when they beat Oregon State by a score of 31-28. This was their first conference win, but they already find themselves with a record of 1-2 in PAC-12 play.

Even though they won the game against the Beavers, the Cardinal do not have a good offense. They average 327.2 yards per game. This ranks 117th in the country. They also average just 112 rushing yards per game, which ranks 112th in the country.
If there is anything positive about their offense, it is the passing offense. They average 215 yards per game through the air. This still ranks 85th in the country, so still not very good.
Davis Mills went 18 of 25 in the game against the Beavers, but he only threw for 253 yards. He did throw for three touchdowns, but may find it much harder to have success against a much better team.
The defense has been torched in almost every game this season. They just allowed 501 yards to the Beavers and on the season they allow an average of 413.6 yards per game. They are especially bad against the pass, allowing 287.4 yards per game, ranking 115th in the country.
They are going to have trouble against Eason and this passing offense and could get blown away early if they do not keep Eason in check.

Free Week 6 NCAA Football Pick
Stanford has had a disappointing season so far and while I think they could be up for this game with it being at home, I still would take the Huskies and Jacob Eason to get the win.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: UNDER 52
Washington’s defense will be the difference in this game and they will do enough to keep this game under the total.
