This week eleven matchup will see the Vanderbilt Commodores travel to the swamp to take on the Florida Gators.

The Gators have won five in a row in this series. Last year they won 37-27.
Vanderbilt Commodores
The Commodores are hanging on for dear life to their bowl chances and must win all their remaining games. If they can somehow get past the Gators, (good luck) they will have three much easier games to play.
In their last game, they lost to South Carolina 24-7. They virtually did nothing on offense, gaining a total of 189 yards. Offense has been a huge issue for Vandy, averaging just 17 points per game.
Against the SEC, they are averaging 15.6 points per game. Their one breakout offensive performance came against LSU, where they scored 38 points.

Continuing with the offense, I really do not know what else to say. Their total yards per game, passing yards per game, rushing yards per game and points scored per game all rank in the 100’s. There are only 130 FBS teams, so that really shows how bad this team has been.
I will give Vandy credit for beating Mizzou though. Their defense played lights out in this game too, but it was a game they played at home.
Speaking of the defense, they have been getting torched in almost every game this season. The least amount of points they allowed was to the Missouri Tigers, and that was 14 points.
To prove this point, they are allowing 32.4 points per game. Against the SEC, they are allowing 33 points per game.
Florida Gators
The Gators saw their hopes to win the SEC basically die in Jacksonville when they lost to the Georgia Bulldogs last week. This was a game where Florida was pretty much shut down, especially on the offensive end.
Florida had 278 total yards of offense, well below their season average of 404.2 yards per game. They virtually did nothing on the ground, rushing for 21 total yards on 19 carries.
The defense was torched by the Dawgs this past Saturday, allowing 398 total yards. They did hold Georgia to 119 yards rushing, but that was really the only bright spot.
Their pass defense was lit up for 279 yards by Jake Fromm aka the guy who “only throws check-downs and slants.” Well this just in, Fromm threw a 52-yard touchdown to a wide open receiver after a horrible blown coverage that basically sealed the win for Georgia.
This does feel like a bad spot for the Gators because of what last week’s game meant for their season. The biggest question is, “How motivated will the Gators be to come home and win this game by four touchdowns?” I am pretty sure they will not be losing to Vandy, but winning by the spread is a different story and they may just try to get in and get out as quickly as possible.

Free Week 11 NCAA Football Pick
There is no doubt in my mind that the Gators will win this game. They still want to go to a good bowl, so they cannot afford another loss.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Vanderbilt Commodores +26.5
As bad as Vanderbilt has been, they have not lost to the Gators by four scores since 2010. I know the teams were completely different at that time, but I still think the Commodores can somehow keep the margin within the number.
