There is not a lot to get excited about here. It is not terribly uncommon to have at least one win less team per season and it might be UTEP this year.

Middle Tennessee had a decent outlook at the beginning of the year and was alright til Conference USA play started. Now they are on their second QB and just playing out the string.

UTEP is struggling and it looks like a hopeless stretch from here to the end of the season. Maybe the coach survives and maybe he doesn’t but he will do his hardest coaching from here on out.

Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders

This team won at Syracuse in the second week of the season. It was supposed to be an announcement to the rest of the conference that they were a threat but things have gone the other way.

Brent Stockstill to Richie James was lethal last year. Now both are out for the season. The offense has really struggled to recover from those massive injuries.

On defense they are good enough but not elite. Once the offense dried up this group has not been able to make a real difference. They have an outside shot of being eligible for a bowl this year.
