This is a big game in the PAC 12 and nationally. Utah has a real shot at the playoffs after Oklahoma’s loss.
Washington is definitely no easy win though, especially at home. Utah has been killing opponents though.
Washington has talent but they just can’t seem to put it together this season. They have lost a lot to the league over the last few seasons and don’t reload like SEC teams.

Utah is just really good. They might not have NFL calibre talent but they are strong in all phases of the game.
The strength of the team is the defense. They are giving up just 10ppg and since their setback at USC they have yielded just 23 points over 4 games. They are first in the nation against the run.

They also put pressure on you by using their own running game to churn up the clock. They rush for more than 200 yards per game and Zach Moss is a load to tackle.
Ty Huntley gives them a mobile quarterback who makes great decisions and few mistakes – just one interception all season. He is key to everything they so on offense.

As good as Utah is they cannot just out-talent Washington. They are going to have to play their game, which has been lethal.
Washington Huskies
The Huskies saw their hope fall apart after losing to Oregon at home a couple of weeks ago. They have had the extra time to think about it and hopefully to get ready for what should be an even tougher game on Saturday.
Jacob Eason is putting up good numbers in his first season leading the Huskies. They need him to be a difference-maker for Washington to win.
The Washington defense is down a notch or two this season. They are only giving up 21ppg so it is not like the sky is falling but they are not scaring opponents this season.
Washington is very well coached so I am curious to see how they come at trying to beat Utah. A couple of weeks ago they might have been the favourite in this game.
