Don’t worry, college football fans, you’re not seeing double.
Though Tulane was scheduled to take on the UCF Knights on October 7th this season, due to the hurricane that slammed Florida’s coast it was postponed until November 5th.
And the best part? It’s November 5th on Saturday!
So here we go again, the Tulane Green Wave head to Orlando, Florida to take on the UCF Knights in an American Athletic Conference battle that should feature quite a few points.
Looking at this game it appears to be a tough one to call.
Both teams have had their ups-and-downs in 2016 and both can put up points in bunches. Look for this to be a high-scoring, fun affair in Florida.
Tulane Green Wave
The Green Wave may not be as bad as their 3-5 record may indicate. Aside from a blowout loss to Tulsa on October 22nd, Tulane hasn’t performed terribly in any of their other losses.
In fact their only other loss decided by more than a TD was a 10 point loss to Memphis on October 14th. So don’t count them out just yet, especially against a conference opponent that can also be hit-or-miss.
QB Glen Cuiellette won the position battle but has yet to have that standout performance, something he may be able to accomplish against the Knights on Saturday.
Defensively the Green Wave haven’t been much to write home about, surrendering 20 ore more points in all but two of their contests. They have also given up 85 points in their past two games.
Though Scott Frost may be auditioning for yet another coaching move across the nation don’t think he is done motivating the UCF Knights.
After a narrow loss to Houston the Knights should be ready to bounce back and move closer towards bowl eligibility down the home stretch of the season.
And with games against Cincinnati, Tulsa, and South Florida coming up, UCF needs to secure a win on Saturday.
Offensively the Knights can be potent.
They’ve put up 30 or more points in four of their games, going 3-1 in those contests.
Though they haven’t eclipsed the 30-point mark in three past three contests, the Green Wave give them a great shot at doing so, and I believe UCF will be able to put at least 30 up on the board.
NCAA Football Handicapping Trends
- UCF are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 home games.
- UCF are 2-6 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.

Free Week 10 NCAA Football Prediction
So here’s what you got on Saturday, a postponed game against two teams who are pretty much side-by-side in talent, both jockeying to finish their seasons on strong notes.
You’ve also got two teams that can put points up on the board and teams that are prone to surrendering quite a few.
What does this equate to? A high-scoring affair that should be fun to watch.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Tulane ATS
This one is tough to call. Both offenses are more than capable of matching one another and both defenses haven’t been anything to write home about.
I will, however, give UCF the edge in this one as it just feels like a great opportunity for them to push towards postseason eligibility. It’ll be close but the Knights win this one.
