The Rockets are already bowl eligible even though they have lost their last two game. Last week they got blasted by Buffalo, with the final score being 49-30.
Toledo will continue to rely on the run like they have all year long. They are averaging 238.2 rushing yards per game, which ranks 16th in the country. They ran for just 154 yards last week, well below their average.

This Toledo defense just looks awful this season. They just allowed 503 total yards to Buffalo. This is a much higher than their season average of 468.9. They do rank 122nd in the country in total yards allowed, so there has obviously been a ton of problems. Their pass defense also allows 256.7 yards per game, ranking 108th.
The rushing defense is even worse, allowing an average of 212.2 yards per game. This ranks 117th in the nation. Keep in mind that they just allowed Buffalo to run for 332 yards on the ground alone, while allowing them to average 6.2 yards per carry.

Central Michigan Chippewas
With the loss by Western Michigan on Tuesday, the Chippewas have the chance to clinch the MAC West. They did lose to the Broncos head to head, so a loss to the Rockets will see them miss out of a conference championship.

Central Michigan is a very balanced offense this season. They are averaging 258.8 passing yards per game and 187.5 rushing yards per game. Both of these rank inside the top 45 in the country.
This Chippewas’ defense has been good at times, but they can be leaky at times as well. The good news is their run defense has been rock solid. They are allowing just 123.5 yards per game on the ground, which ranks 26th in the country. Running the ball will be the gameplan for Toledo, so stopping their run will be the key to taking them down.
