The Aggies might have lost early in the season, but that loss was to Alabama. Texas A&M is making a hard push for a top ranking despite the loss. They will likely need a whole lot of chaos to occur if they want to be considered for the playoffs.
Of course, they also need to win out and do so convincingly. Note that the Aggies are dealing with a Covid-19 problem as of Tuesday, but we do not know which players are being affected.
Texas A&M Aggies
The Aggies are coming off a 48-3 against South Carolina. This was a game that was over with quickly. The Gamecocks did not ever score their field goal until it was 41-0.
A&M had a total of 530 yards in this game and dominated on both fronts. Kellen Mond threw for 224 yards and had four touchdowns. More importantly, he did not turn the ball over. The Aggies also had 264 yards rushing an averaged 5.9 yards per carry.
This offense is clearly underrated due to a few lackluster performances earlier this season. The Aggies rank 32nd in total offense, 43rd in passing offense, 38th in rushing offense and 39th in scoring offense.
Texas A&M’s defense played probably their best game of the season against the Gamecocks, allowing a total of 150 yards. South Carolina threw for 100 yards and had just 50 yards rushing on 25 carries.
Note that this defense ranks 26th in the country in total yards allowed per game and 8th in rushing defense.
The Vols got off to a hot start against the Razorbacks this past week, but still managed to lose 24-13. They basically were not a threat offensively, gaining just 292 yards. Most of their offense came from running the ball, 185 yards, but it still equated to essentially nothing.
Quarterback, Jarrett Guarantano got hurt in the game against Arkansas and his status is unclear. Even if he does play, he is not any good, so it still will be a struggle the entire game.
The Vols defense has a major problem as well trying to stop anyone. They did play well in the first half against Arkansas, but quickly allowed their lead to slip away. They are worst against the pass, allowing 247.5 yards per game. Containing Mond is going to be their biggest problem, so I expect Tennessee to struggle.

Free Week 11 NCAA Football Prediction:
The Vols are so bad that as long as the Aggies have enough players on the field, they are probably going to win this game. I have no confidence in Tennessee whatsoever to keep this one close.
Free NCAA Betting Pick: Under 50.5
With the possibility that some Aggies’ players will be out, I am going to play the under here. The Vols have no offense and that will lead to a low scoring game.
