This game features two vastly different SEC teams. Kevin Sumlin and the 9th ranked Aggies travel to South Carolina to face the 2-2 Gamecocks.
Texas A&M Aggies
Quarterback Trevor Knight is playing really good this season.
He has 7 touchdowns in 4 games and while those numbers won’t wow you like previous A&M QB’s have done, he’s made enough plays to keep them undefeated.

This week against the Gamecocks he should have another solid performance against a questionable secondary.
Trayveon Williams has been dominate the last two weeks! He had 8 carries for 127 yards and 1 TD vs Auburn two weeks ago, then followed that up with 12 carries for 153 yards and 2 scores against Arkansas.
The South Carolina defense was beaten down by Kentucky last week, and they gave up 216 yards rushing.
Look for Williams to reach the 200 yard mark and get 2 scores on the ground.
The Texas A&M receivers have done a good job getting open this year.
Josh Reynolds has 2 straight games with a score, including a 92 yarder last week. His speed on the outside should be a big factor in this week’s game.

In week 1 the A&M defense shut down Josh Rosen, in week 3 vs Auburn they shut down Sean White, but last week they had a rough game against Austin Allen giving up 370 yards passing.
I expect them to play like the unit that showed up in week 3, and clamp down on the Gamecocks passing attack.
South Carolina Gamecocks
True Freshman Brandon McIlwain has looked like a true freshman the last two weeks, not throwing a touchdown or an interception in either game.
He goes up against an Aggies defense that has shut down two of the better quarterbacks in college football and they should be able to shut him down this week. Expect a couple of picks from the youngster.
The Gamecocks running game has not been able to really get into a groove this season. A.J. Turner is only averaging just under 40 yards a game on the ground.
If the Gamecocks are going to have any shot winning the game he must play consistent and make plays coming out of the backfield.
The South Carolina defense has played well this year, not allowing any opponent to score more than 27 points. Look for them to face a much steeper test in a very potent A&M offense.

The key to success today will be the play of their defensive lineman.
If they can get pressure on Trevor Knight the game should be closer than a lot of people think.
