Aggies vs. Tigers Gameday
The Texas A&M Aggies visit the No. 14 Missouri Tigers on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Faurot Field in Columbia. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 PM ET on ABC.
Texas A&M enters at 3-2 overall and 1-2 in SEC play under Mike Elko. The Aggies have lost their only road game, and another conference trip gives them an opportunity to change that. Nobody promised them a relaxing Saturday in Columbia.
Missouri is 4-1 overall and 1-1 in conference action. Eli Drinkwitz has the Tigers ranked No. 14 in the AP Poll, with a perfect 3-0 record at home.
Missouri wants to protect its home turf, while Texas A&M needs a road performance that changes the conversation.
Texas A&M has won the last three meetings, including a 38-17 victory in Columbia last season.
The Aggies lead the all-time series 11-7. Missouri has the better current record, but recent history gives the visitors something to feel good about.
It’s Week 6, Texas A&M Aggies vs. Missouri Tigers, hopefully we get a great matchup.

Texas A&M Aggies vs. Missouri Tigers Odds & Last 5
Missouri is listed at -176 on the moneyline, with Texas A&M at +146. The supplied spread favors Missouri by 3.5 points, and the total is 48.5.
Texas A&M defeated Arkansas 34-7 last Saturday, rushing for 231 yards. The Aggies also beat Missouri State 50-0 and Arizona State 48-20. Their losses came against Kentucky, 31-21, and LSU, 35-6.
Missouri is coming off a 45-17 victory over Florida, a performance that turned plenty of heads. The Tigers also defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff 54-14 earlier this season.
Their only defeat came at Mississippi State, 31-24.
Both teams arrive after convincing wins, although they’ve taken different paths to this point. Missouri has been more consistent, while Texas A&M is still trying to put together consecutive strong performances.
The spread sits above the key number of three, making the hook important. Bettors comparing prices at their preferred sportsbooks should keep that in mind.

Tigers Stats
Missouri has scored 188 points through five games, averaging nearly 38 per contest. The Tigers have rushed for 847 yards, giving them a productive ground attack to complement their passing game.
Running back Jamal Roberts leads the team with 606 rushing yards and six TD’s. His physical running style has made him difficult to bring down, and the offensive line deserves some credit for creating room. Apparently, Missouri didn’t get the memo that every offense needs to throw it 50 times.
Missouri’s physical running game gives the Tigers a dependable foundation against a talented Texas A&M defense.
Wide receiver Cayden Lee has caught 35 passes for 522 yards and four TD’s.
Donovan Olugbode adds another receiving threat with 407 yards and six scores. Missouri has enough options outside to punish defenses that concentrate too heavily on the running game.
Defensively, the Tigers have allowed 100 points and recorded 15 sacks. Linebacker Nicholas Rodriguez leads the team with 50 tackles and earned SEC Defensive Player of the Week honors for his performance against Florida. Missouri has shown it can generate pressure without relying entirely on blitzes.
Aggies Stats
Texas A&M has scored 159 points through five games, averaging nearly 32 per contest. The Aggies have gained 944 passing yards and 837 rushing yards, with their offensive production varying considerably by opponent.
Rueben Owens II leads the ground game with 291 rushing yards. KJ Edwards has contributed 181 yards and two TD’s, giving the Aggies another option when they want to establish a physical approach.
Texas A&M has scored TD’s on 16 of its 22 red-zone opportunities. That’s a useful strength for an offense that hasn’t always moved the ball consistently between the 20s.
Defensively, the Aggies have allowed 93 points this season.
Texas A&M has forced eight turnovers, including four interceptions and four fumble recoveries. The Aggies have already generated 41 points off takeaways, showing how quickly their defense can change a game. Giving this unit free opportunities is asking for trouble.
Cornerback Dezz Ricks has been especially effective in coverage. He has repeatedly kept opposing receivers quiet, giving Elko’s defense an important piece against Missouri’s passing attack.
Aggies vs. Tigers QB Matchup
Missouri QB Austin Simmons has completed 93 of 137 passes for 1,287 yards, 13 TD’s and no interceptions. His accuracy and decision-making have been central to the Tigers’ offensive success.
Simmons threw for 340 yards and two TD’s against Florida, earning SEC Offensive Player of the Week honors. He’s comfortable distributing the football and rarely looks rushed into a bad decision. That’s a nice luxury for any offensive coordinator.
Backup Matt Zollers has attempted 13 passes for 87 yards in limited action.
Texas A&M QB Marcel Reed has completed 85 of 149 passes for 908 yards, six TD’s and four interceptions. He’s also rushed for 170 yards and two scores, giving the Aggies another way to create offense when protection breaks down.
Reed completed 13 of 19 passes for 170 yards against Arkansas. He also contributed 66 rushing yards, showing how dangerous he can be when allowed to improvise.
CP Is More Than Just Sports Picks!
“ Anybody can post a prediction. CappersPicks backs up its sports picks with opinionated matchup analysis, experienced handicappers & documented betting performance. Pad that bankroll one day at a time! ”
Backup Brady Hart has thrown for 36 yards with one TD and one interception in limited opportunities.
Simmons has been the more efficient passer, while Reed offers greater mobility and improvisational ability. Missouri will need to keep Reed contained, and Texas A&M must find ways to disrupt Simmons’ timing before he gets comfortable.
Texas A&M Aggies vs. Missouri Tigers bottom line: Missouri’s efficient passing attack faces an Aggies defense capable of creating takeaways, setting up a demanding SEC test for both QB’s.
Texas A&M Aggies vs. Missouri Tigers Football Betting Trends
- Texas A&M is 17-4 straight up in their last 21 games after a win.
- Also, the Aggies have hit the over in 10 of their last 12 away games.
- Missouri is undefeated at 27-0 straight up as a favorite in their last 27 games.
- The Tigers are 24-3 straight up in their last 27 home games.
- Plus, Missouri has gone 8-2-1 on the over in their last 11 home games.
- The Tigers are 17-7 against the spread as a favorite in their last 24 games.
Aggies Tigers Free Pick: Missouri Tigers -3.5
Here is my Aggies Tigers free pick: Missouri Tigers -3.5. I’m not usually eager to lay more than a FG in an SEC game, especially against a team that knows how to make things ugly. But Missouri has earned my attention, and I like the Tigers in this spot.
Missouri has won 24 of its last 27 home games and gone 17-7 ATS in its last 24 as a favorite. Those are the kinds of trends I respect, although nobody at the sportsbook pays you for having a pretty record.
My concern is Texas A&M’s ability to create extra possessions through turnovers. A short field or defensive score can make laying 3.5 points uncomfortable in a hurry.
I’m betting Missouri can win the important possessions and build enough separation to cover the hook.
I expect the Tigers to be more patient offensively, particularly when the game tightens up. The Aggies can be dangerous when everything clicks, but they’ve also shown a tendency to stall against quality opposition. That’s not a combination I want to trust on the road.
I’ve been betting SEC football long enough to know the better-looking team doesn’t always cash. Here, though, I trust Missouri to finish drives and protect a late lead without making me sweat through every final snap.
My college football betting system is telling me to take Missouri -3.5.
