With a few losses already these teams are not going to be in the hunt for the B12 title this season.
These are two quality well-coached programs though so it should be a good game.
West Virginia is still in building mode for coach Neal Brown so a win for them would be more meaningful.
TCU Horned Frogs
TCU has won their last two games, beating Baylor and Texas Tech. All of their losses have been to quality teams and they might influence the conference race with their game against Oklahoma State the final week.
TCU has been pretty consistent on offense this season. They have played 6 games and in five of them, win or lose, they 33 or 34 points.
I like Max Duggan a lot but they have to find a running game to support him. It is good that he can scramble and get yards but they need to get the running backs going.
The defense has not been very good this season though. They are giving up more than 27ppg and have not been able to stiffen when needed.
I think this is going to be a good one and if TCU has the ball last they can win it.
West Virginia Mountaineers
West Virginia is off a tough road loss against Texas last week. It was a low scoring game, 17-13. In two of their three losses they have only scored 13 points.
The offense has been up and down this season with Jarret Doege at the controls. RB Leddie Brown is averaging more than 100 yards per game and has 11 scores.
The West Virginia defense has been one of the best in the country this season, 4th in yards allowed and they are giving up only 19ppg.
If that defense is on this weekend then the home side should get the win. This one will be a battle though.
