These two programs have been kicked around pretty good this season.
That is not too much of a suprise for the visiting Orange but Louisville was supposed to be in Tier 2 in the ACC.
Now they might not even be in Tier 4 or 5. Things have gone backward in year 2 with their coach.
Syracuse Orange
Syracuse was off last week and maybe they can use some extra prep time to find some offense. Only once all season have they scored more than 24 points.
That one time was also their lone win this season, 37-20, over Georgia Tech.
It looks like freshman Jacobian Morgan will be the guy. Tommy Devito is out for the season and backup Randy Culpepper is questionable. Morgan has looked OK over the last couple of weeks.
This season is lost so the Orange can focus on the development of Morgan. He should have plenty of reason to throw the ball too given Syracuse has one of the worst defenses in the nation.
Syracuse is likely to be down so we will see how the offense can respond agains a porous Louisville defense.
Louisville Cardinals
It has been a really disappointing season for Louisville, especially because an offense that they thought they would be able to count on every week has been inconsistent.
It could be a home road thing as they have been much more effective at Cardinal Stadium. That might mean we can expect an explosion. Especially off just 17 points against Virginia last week.
Off a season low of 7 points against Notre Dame on the road earlier in the season they scored a season high 48 points against Florida State a few weeks ago.
Louisville has to get their offense back on track because there have been few games this season where the defense has been sharp. Syracuse is an easy matchup though.

I think it is just going to come down to the offenses. Syracuse looks lost but against a weak defense I can see Louisville using their balance to get it going.
