Both of these teams are looking for their first win of the season. More pressure on South Carolina as the favourite though.
Vanderbilt might not win a game all season long if they don’t get this one.
I can only imagine what it will feel like in Columbia if they lose this one.
South Carolina Gamecocks
South Carolina has battled the first couple of weeks of the season. Though it would have been nice to have been closer the Gamecocks are not as good as Florida or Tennessee.
As the spread indicated, they should be a lot better than Vanderbilt. They need the win and it is probably in Will Muschamp’s best interests to make it definitive.
Transfer QB Collin Hill has looked alright as the starter. The last couple of weeks they would have needed him to win the game. For this one, they just him to not make mistakes.
South Carolina has enough athletes on defense that they should be able to contain Vanderbilt. They should not be gouged this week.
This line is kind of big for a team that has not won any ballgames. You might have got some covers with them if you were on the right numbers though.
Vanderbilt Commodores
This is looking like a long season in Nashville. The team is not very good and with the schedule not including any non-SEC opponents wins are going to be hard to come by.
To get a win they are going to have to come up with a way to get more than 12 points. The offense has not been very good early.
LSU and Texas A&M are better teams than South Carolina so that will help a little bit. They are still going to have to make some plays.
12:00 PM kick means maybe the Gamecocks are a little sleepy to start on the road. If they can get some scores and apply the pressure maybe they can surprise, or keep it close.

Free Week 6 NCAA Football Pick
Laying this many points with South Carolina just doesn’t feel right. I know they are the better team but they make me nervous.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Over 41.5
That is a lot of points to give up with a low total too. I know andy has not scored much but I think South Carolina can get into the 30s here so they don’t have to do a ton.
My grand fear is that this one winds up being something like 17-6. Check the weather, if we are playing in bad conditions you might need to flip it
