Kentucky is off to a strong start this season, improving to 1-0 after a 31-0 victory over Southern Miss. The Wildcats, who were -25.5 point favorites, not only won but also covered the spread. The over/under line was set at 50 points, but the combined score of 31 points fell short, resulting in the under hitting.

Kentucky took control early, leading 7-0 after the first quarter. They extended their lead to 17-0 by halftime and then added another touchdown in the third quarter, leading to the final score of 31-0.

The Wildcats’ offense totaled 317 yards, with 148 yards coming on the ground. Demie Sumo-Karngbaye led the rushing attack with 59 yards on eight carries and added a rushing touchdown.

Kentucky’s defense was dominant in their most recent game, limiting Southern Miss to just 131 total yards.
