The offense was good but that has been decent this year, but the defense stepped up in a big giving up only 14 points and that led to a victory.
At quarterback the Boilermakers are led by Jack Plummer who has thrown for 965 yards, seven touchdowns, and four interceptions.
In this game they are facing a good defense so it’s going to be important that Plummer has a good game and doesn’t turn the ball over.
Iowa Hawkeyes
On the other side of this matchup is the Iowa Hawkeyes who were good to start the season but the offense has been non-existent the last couple of games and it has led to two straight losses.

Over their last two games against Michigan and Penn State they scored only 15 points total. Both are good defenses, but for a guy in Nate Stanley who is supposed to be an NFL quarterback. he needs to play better and the Hawkeyes need to play better defense.
On the defensive side the Hawkeyes have a really good defense giving up only 10.2 points per game and against the Boilermakers, the defense is going to need to be elite.
ON the offensive side they need to attack the bad defense, and try to run up the score. If they lose this game there is going to be some real panic around this program.
