Oregon State will be on the road to square off with Fresno State in this Saturday night tilt.
Both of these teams picked up out-of-conference victories in the first week of the season and they will look to earn win #2 of the season on Saturday.
This game is expected to kick off right around 10:30 EST from Bulldog Stadium in Fresno, CA.
As of right now, the Beavers are listed as a 1 point favorite on the road against the Bulldogs. The total opened at 60.5 and is now up to 61.5.
These two schools have not met each other in a very long time so it will be interesting to see what kind of game we end up getting.
Oregon State Beavers
The word impressive hardly got thrown out a year ago in regards to the Oregon State Football team, but I actually liked what I saw from them in their 34-17 win over Boise State in their first game of the season.
Their last opponent was not a great team, but they were still a tricky opponent to take down and I thought they handled them pretty well.
At halftime on Saturday, the score was 24-0 in favor of the home team and they took care of business from there. It was really one of those games where they handled the opposition from the start until the finish.
Offensively, things could have been smoother for them last time out as Chance Nolan certainly would like to get those two interceptions back, but they were still able to move the ball effectively against the Broncos.
Something that really stood out to me when I watched them against Boise State was the effectiveness of their defense. At the end of the game, they were able to force five turnovers and they really did not allow the opposing team to move the ball all that well on them.
Fresno State Bulldogs
Fresno State started off their season with a very simple game and they did just what they needed to do against Cal Poly with a 35-7 win.
It was one of those games where they did a lot of good things on both sides of the field, but it is always important to remember who they played. I do not feel it was one of those games where a lot was learned about this team.
Quarterback Jake Haener threw the ball quite a bit in their last game and he was able to complete 36 of 42 passes for 377 yards and two touchdown passes. He, along with many members of the offense, did a good job of taking advantage of a defense that was not very good.
Running back Jordan Mims had himself a nice day as well with two rushing touchdowns and he was able to run for right around 5 yards a carry.
Something that did not necessarily stand out in the final score was the number of penalties they committed, but that is a part of their game that is going to have to be better when they face off with the Beavers on Saturday. A lot of the mistakes were inexcusable and they could certainly end up costing them when facing off with a more quality opponent.

4* Oregon State vs. Fresno State NCAA Betting Final Analysis:
Both of these teams were able to coast to victories in their opener, but I do not see that being the case on Saturday evening.
The level of competition is going to be higher for the schools involved here and I see this as a fairly competitive one in the end.
In this spot, I do not love giving the one point on the road with an Oregon State team that I still have plenty of questions about. Despite being the underdog here, I feel the Bulldogs are a slightly better team.
When it comes to college football, I am not opposed to laying points with road favorites, but doing so here would not be my best play.
Give me the Bulldogs at +1 in this non-conference matchup.
