Oregon State Beavers
Oregon State had a bye week this past weekend. In their last contest against the California Golden Bears they came out on top 21-17. Oregon State jumped out to a 14-3 halftime lead and hung on the rest of the way in what was a competitive game.
Jake Luton wound up with 174 passing yards and two touchdowns. Artavis Pierce led the rush attack with 79 yards but it took him 22 carries to do so. Pierce also had a receiving touchdown in the win. Overall as a team the Beavers rushed for only 107 yards on just 2.7 yards per carry.
Isaiah Hodgins had a receiving touchdown in the game. The defense was solid as they allowed the Golden Bears to only have 282 total yards. Avery Roberts led the defense with 13 tackles and Hamilcar Rashed Jr. had three sacks.
Arizona Wildcats
The Arizona Wildcats are coming off a 41-31 loss against the Stanford Cardinal. Arizona’s defense struggled particularly in the second quarter where they allowed 24 points.
Khalil Tate had a mediocre performance in the loss. The signal-caller went for 205 passing yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. Backup quarterback Grant Gunnell was more effective as he was 7/7 for 68 passing yards and a touchdown.
The Wildcats defense struggled to contain K.J Costello who had 322 passing yards and three touchdowns.

J.J. Taylor led the ground attack with 107 rushing yards on 16 carries. Khalil Tate added 103 rushing yards and a touchdown. Tayvian Cunningham finished with 61 receiving yards and J.J. Taylor added receiving 53 yards.
