This week ten SEC matchup will see the Auburn Tigers host the Ole Miss Rebels.

Both teams have basically been eliminated from playing in the SEC Championship game. Auburn has beat the Rebels three years in a row, including a 31-16 win in 2018.
Ole Miss Rebels
The Rebels are coming off a bye week after a close loss to Texas A&M. The final score to this game was 24-17. Ole Miss now has to win three of their last four games to become bowl eligible. This stretch includes games against LSU and the Egg Bowl against Mississippi State. That said, if they lose to Auburn, it is very unlikely they will win out.
The Ole Miss offense has shown some flashes this year of improvement, but they still do not score enough. They only average 25.9 points per game, ranking 89th in the country. Against just SEC teams, they score an average of 27.4 points per game, so they are slightly improved in this regard.
The success of this offense will live or die by the ground game. Ole Miss averages 232.6 rushing yards per game. This is the 18th best rushing attack in FBS football.

The defense held their own last time out against the Aggies, holding them to 340 total yards and just 24 points. Overall, the Rebels allow 27 points per game on average However, against SEC schools, they allow 28.8 points per game.
Their defensive strength is stopping the run, allowing 124.9 yards per game. If the Rebels are going to pull off a massive upset, they must force Bo Nix, who has struggled recently, to beat them with his arm. The Rebels do not exactly have a great pass defense, but Bo Nix has shown he will make mistakes and that could be the difference in the game.
Auburn Tigers
The Tigers just finished a brutal part of their schedule where they traveled to Florida, got a break against Arkansas at home and then travel to LSU. As expected, they lost two of those games, and now will play the rest of their games at home.
It still does not get easy as they host Georgia next week and then Alabama in the Iron Bowl after Thanksgiving. They must come out focus against the Rebels and not look past them.
The good news is they are playing at home where their quarterback has been much more comfortable. In true home games, Bo Nix has completed 47 of 74 passes (63.5%), thrown for 703 yards, 4 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. Compared to his road games where he has completed 50 of 99 passes (50.5%), thrown for 578 yards, 6 touchdowns, 4 interceptions, and 1 fumble lost.
The Tigers still will focus on their run game as it is ranked 20th in the country. If they can establish this, Bo Nix should not have to do much.
Auburn’s defense played a great game against LSU holding them to just 23 points. Even with a pass defense of 82nd in the country, the Tigers were able to keep LSU from running up the score. This week they will look to stuff the Rebels run game, something they have done to majority of their opponents.
The Tigers allow 105.9 rushing yards per game, good for 15th in the country. As long as they slow down Ole Miss in this area, they will be able to run away with this game rather easily.

Auburn is the superior team and they will win this game.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: UNDER 52.5
The only problem is you have to wonder what state this Tigers team will be in. They just lost two of their last three games, eliminating them from the College Football Playoffs. They also have Georgia on deck and may be looking ahead too much. That being said, I think both teams will look to play conservatively and will run the ball. I like the under to be the play for this game.
