Oklahoma is one of a few remaining unbeaten teams. Their offense is prolific and their defense good enough to have them headed for the playoffs.
Kansas State is starting a new era in Manhattan. They are having some success with a great chance to get to a bowl in the first season under Chris Kleiman.
Everyone in the B12 is hoping that the Sooners might lose focus and drop a game but that looks unlikely here.
Oklahoma Sooners
Oklahoma is first in the nation in scoring and in yards.
Their offense has definitely not taken a step back with Kyler Murray now in the NFL.
Jalen Hurts is having a monster year, leading the team in rushing as well as passing.
If he continues to succeed like has been he might put up a season with over 4000 yards through the air and over 1000 on the ground. I think that would be a first.

Oklahoma is loaded at running back so when he hands it off the Sooners are ripping off close to a first down. Their other rushers are all averaging more thna 7 yards per carry.
CeeDee Lamb is averaging more than 22 yards per reception and he already has 10 TDs (11 last year). He is the top target but Charleston Rambo is also dangerous.
The key is the defense holding up when it matters. They looked alright against Texas but have not been tested a lot this season. This is a good matchup.
Kansas State Wildcats
Kansas State got a nice win last week, beating TCU. It was most welcome after back to back losses but other than a tilt with Kansas I am not seeing wins on the rest of the schedule. At least nothing probable.

The Wildcats pride themselves on playing good defense. The best example of that was holding an explosive Oklahoma State team to just 26 points. Oklahoma is on a different level though.
When they have the ball KSU is not doing a ton. Mostly they are asking QB Skylar Thompson not to make mistakes and that has held, just one interception. Only twice has he thrown for more than 200 yards though.
Even if the Wildcats can somehow limit the Sooners offense they are going to have to score at least 4 of 5 times to have a shot at a win. I am not sure they can do that.
