Oklahoma is looking up at the Bears in the standings right now, that was unexpected.
Baylor just keeps winning and not gaining respect while doing so. What happened to “Just Win Baby”?
This one might just be a preview of the B12 title game in a few weeks.
Oklahoma Sooners
The Sooners are elite…offensively. However, that leaky defense almost cost them again as they barely beat Iowa State at home last week. They have given up 40+ point in back to back games.
There is nothing wrong with the offense though as they continue to put up big numbers. They have not scored less than 34 points in a game this season. (That is close to the Baylor average)

Jalen Hurts has fit in perfectly. He has 39 combined touchdowns and how Baylor contains him, or tries to, will be a big story for the game.
Though not as big as that defense. Iowa State is a pretty good offensive team but K-State not so much. They seem to make everyone look good.
Oklahoma has some pressure here. A second loss might not bump them from the conference title game but it will from playoff consideration.
Baylor Bears
Every year there is a team that just keeps winning and this year we seem to have two of them, Minnesota and Baylor. The Bears continued their perfect start by beating TCU in overtime last week.
Oklahoma will present their toughest challenge to date because the Sooners are so explosive. They are also bad on defense though. They are not at the Sooners level but the Bears handled Oklahoma State pretty well and they have a similar profile.

The key for Baylor will be limiting the big plays for Oklahoma. You cannot really stop their offense but you can make them work for it and avoid those huge momentum swings. They have to keep the game close.
Baylor are big dogs because the assumption is that they won’t be able to handle the speed of that Oklahoma offense. I am not sure there is truly a reason to think so but we will see on Saturday.

Free Week 12 NCAA Football Pick
Oklahoma is really good but this one is setting up a lot like the Penn State Minnesota game from a week ago.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Baylor +10
The reality is that Oklahoma can beat any team by 10. They are that good on offense to be up a TD per half but hitting the road with all of those expectations is hard. Just ask PSU, who got down early and could never close the gap.
I don’t know if Baylor is better than Minnesota, Penn State or Oklahoma. I just know I like their coaching staff and am not going to fade them at home this week.
