The New Mexico Lobos hit the road to take on the Wyoming Cowboys for a Saturday afternoon showdown. Wyoming is a 19.5 point favorite with the total being set at 48.5 points.
The Cowboys are led by Sean Chambers who has 671 passing yards and 430 rush yards on the season. The Lobos on the other hand are led by their running back duo of Ahmari Davis (457 yards), and Bryson Carroll (389 yards).

New Mexico Lobos
On Friday night the Lobos lost 35-21 to the Colorado State Rams. It was a disappointing loss considering the Lobos were at home and the Rams came into the game 1-5. Sheriron Jones had a poor performance going for 89 passing yards and throwing an interception.
The Lobos offense was carried by their ground game. Bryson Carroll was spectacular going for 193 rushing yards and a touchdown. Jones added 54 yards on 17 carries. Marcus Williams led all receivers with 58 yards on five receptions.

The Lobos simply committed too many mistakes in the contest as they had three turnovers. The pass defense was abysmal as they allowed Patrick O’Brien to go for 420 passing yards and three touchdowns.
Wyoming Cowboys
Wyoming is coming off a 26-22 loss to the San Diego State Aztecs. After leading by eight at the half the Cowboys were outscored 20-8 in the second half. The Cowboys had a shot to win the game but Chambers threw an interception with two minutes to play.
It was a game to forget for Sean Chambers who had only 109 passing yards and a touchdown. Chambers also had 49 rush yards and two touchdowns. Xazavian Valladay led the ground game with 73 yards on 16 carries.
Gunner Gentry had a 45 yard reception in the loss, and Raghid Ismail Jr. had 34 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Cassh Maluia led the team with nine tackles, and Alijah Halliburton had eight tackles two of them going for a loss.
