The New Mexico Lobos lost 45-31 to the Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors on Saturday. Tevaka Tuioti had an up and down game as he had 293 passing yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions.
New Mexico did their best to make it a contest after they trailed 35-3 at the half. Ahmari Davis had a huge game with 200 rushing yards and two touchdowns on only 16 carries.
Jordan Kress wound up with 100 receiving yards and a touchdown, and Anselem Umeh had 92 receiving yards. Hawai’i out-gained New Mexico 578-500 in total yards. Erin Austin had three tackles and an interception in the loss.
The defense struggled to contain Cole McDonald (140 rush yards), and Miles Reed (97 rush yards) in the loss.
Nevada Wolfpack
Nevada is coming off an embarrassing 31-3 loss to the Wyoming Cowboys. Nevada’s offense wasn’t as poor as the scoreline suggested as they had 335 total yards. The issue was that they committed two turnovers and missed a field goal.
Carson Strong had a mediocre game with 247 passing yards and an interception. Romeo Doubs wound up with 98 receiving yards on five receptions, and Melquan Stovall finished with 57 receiving yards.

The Wolfpack struggled with their rush attack as they had 81 rush yards. Berdale Robins had an interception for the defense and Kyle Adams added seven tackles.
