The Cornhuskers have started the season off strong, including a big home win against #22 Oregon last week.
After two horrible losses to start the season (including a 9-7 loss to FCS Indiana St), the Wildcats came back and secured a victory against a good Duke team.
Tommy Armstrong Jr. continued his stellar play last week, and should be on a dark horse list for Heisman candidates.
He had 200 yards passing and 3 touchdowns through the air.
He was also able to make a bunch of plays with his running ability, including the 34 yard game winner. I expect him to have another great game against a poor Wildcats defense.
The running game returned to form last week against the Ducks.
Not only was Tommy Armstrong able to get 95 yards on the ground, but Devine Ozigbo was able to get 95 yards and a score as well. Look for him to reach the 100 yard mark and get 2 scores.
The Cornhuskers passing defense was solid if not spectacular last week.
They did not give up a touchdown pass to Dakota Prukop. The running defense struggled as they gave up 333 yards on the ground. This cannot happen again or it will be a long day for the defensive front 7.
Clayton Thorson had an up and down game. He had 3 touchdowns but threw 2 interceptions. He was also sacked 5 times. If the Wildcats are to have any chance in this one.
Running back Justin Jackson had 94 yards on the ground, but needed 28 carries to do it. If the Wildcats rely on him he should be able to reach the 100 yard mark with a score.
Austin Carr had an amazing game against the Blue Devils, he had 6 catches for 135 yards and a score. I don’t see him keeping that pace up against a very tough Cornhuskers secondary.
Even in the 2 losses to start the season, the Wildcats defense has played very well. They didn’t give up a passing touchdown to the Blue Devils and the run defense was solid.
However this week they play one of the best quarterbacks in the conference and I expect them to have a hard time containing him.

Free Week 4 NCAA Football Prediction
Tommy Armstrong will be great in this one. I expect him to have 250 yards passing and another 125 on the ground. He will lead the Cornhuskers to an easy victory and propel them into the top 15.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Nebraska ATS, Under
Too much Tommy Armstrong will hurt the Wildcats chances to play ball control football. It should be a 2 touchdown game by the end of the third.
